Yeah...this kinda thing puts our little problems and disputes into perspective. Shame to see this happen and I'm sure we'll get more details and things will unfold in the next few days and weeks.

Great words tom.

Great post, Tom.
It seems the prior team owners/management combos wanted to build a team around finesse and/or skill. Flashy players that may or may not get the job done. But now, the tone is clearly "hard work" and the product will definitely be something to enjoy.

I'm glad you appreciate the reference. I felt it was the most appropriate quote to use :-)

I do love listening to live versions of the "Sultans..." though.

Mark Knopfler's fantastic! I was fortunate to see Dire Straits live twice and those were the best shows I ever saw. If you ever get the chance to see Knopfler, don't pass it up.

Thanks for the Plug there Tom. Be sure to listen to Hockey Night on Long Island.

Anyway, nice to see Fata get his first NHL goal despite the meaninglessness of it for the team. I know Nolan seems pretty set on Dunham, but I would hope that Dubie gets to start on Saturday night.

Lotsa luck Tom - sure you will do a bang up job. Going to the Isles game tonight? If so - stop by Gate 3/4 (Booster Club) and say hi!
