April 2007

Doesn’t look any surprises in the line-up today for the Tigers compared to their previous game.  Looks like the Tigers are going with 1and Thompson in net tonight.  Scratch from the lineup Stephen Wood (healthy), Brandon Nolan (ribs), Jeremy Colliton (shoulder), Petteri Nokelainen (finger), Eric Boguniecki (head), Frans Nielsen (concussion), Sergei Ogorodnikov (healthy), Brandon Cullen (concussion).

Forwards:

G. Johnson-Desharnais-Regier
Comeau-Smith-J. Johnson
Rank-Pitton-Magowan
Marjamaki/Malec

Defensemen:

Wotton-Fraser
Berry-Fata
Gervais-Rourke

Goaltenders:

Thompson
Mole

I’ll see you for the intermissions….

Greetings from Bridgeport, CT again!  The Tigers have a crucial game again tonight as they face the Providence Bruins at 7:30 tonight.  The Tigers are currently tied in the last playoff spot with the Albany River Rats, who are in Binghamton to play the B-Sens.  Odds are that the River Rats will take two points from the Senators (who hasn’t this year) so it’s must win again for the Tigers if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.

A couple of roster moves I failed to mention that are of note:

Released:
Cam McCaffrey
James Sixsmith
Steve Crampton

Add to roster:
Bruno Gervais

I’ll be back with pre-game line combinations after the warm ups!

Til then…

Just  a quickie update tonight after a little layoff so you’re probably not going to get the witty banter.  Tonight saw the return of Bruno Gervais to the Tiger, which looks to be a little rehab stint to get him back in the swing of things.  Unfortunately for Bruno and the Tigers, they were blanked by Philadelphia 3-0.

Fortunately for the Tigers, Springfield got a late third period goal by young Jacob Micflikier to lift the Springfield Falcoins to a 3-2 victory.

The Tigers and River Rats are still tied for the last playoff spot in the East Division and it looks like this is going to go down to the wire.

That’s all for now.  I’ll be at the Isles game tomorrow night, if anyone else is going to be there and would like to say a quick hi, i’d love to meet you!

Big game for the Tigers tonight. Down by 2 points to the River Rats after a emotional loss to the Bears 6-5 last night, Bridgeport will have some familiar and some un-familiar faces in the lineup tonight.
